Imagine a traditional Småland julbord in a warm and lively setting, where the scent of spruce, candlelight and freshly prepared food greets the guests. Here at Getnö Gård, the julbord has always been more than just a meal – it is an experience where guests step straight into another era.
Our “Gammel-Jul” (Old-Time Christmas) combines the Småland julbord with an atmospheric setting, stories and tales from times gone by. It is an evening filled with laughter, warmth and a feeling of old-fashioned Christmas tradition.

“Gammel-Jul” at Getnö Gård – A Christmas experience from days gone by
At Getnö Gård, we have laid out the best of a time long gone. When you arrive at the farm, we have lit bonfires and welcome you with warm glögg (mulled wine), served by the maids. The lady of the house, Astrid, invites you to the traditional Christmas feast. The maids Alma, Edit and Rut help Astrid with the Christmas preparations. The farm steward Axel tells of all the work that goes into getting the farm ready for Christmas. The Småland julbord features ingredients from nearby farms, from our own hunting grounds and from the fishing waters of Lake Åsnen.

Dates: ~ Dec 4–5–6 and ~ Dec 11–12–13
Time: Friday–Saturday / 6:00 pm and Sundays / 4:00 pm
Price:
- 850 SEK/person (+ service fee to Biljettkiosken)
- 395 SEK/child (+ service fee to Biljettkiosken), children under 12
Included: Glögg, stories, julbord, coffee, dessert and sweets buffet & entertainment.
We hold a full alcohol serving licence (max. 50 guests)
