Getnö Storytelling walk, with Fika

Gathering at the bird information board next to the barn.

Welcome to a storytelling walk together with Saga, the Norse goddess of storytelling. We will walk along accessible paths among centuries-old trees, past Viking graves, a rune stone, and the blood-stained sacrificial stone, down to the gods’ own lake, Åsnen. Perhaps Åsnen’s very own crocodile is lurking among the reeds?

At Getnö, you can find traces of several creatures from Nordic folklore — giants, the Näcken (a water spirit), the lindworm, the Gloson (a mythical wild boar), and trolls, to name just a few. After the walk, we will finish with fika at Getnö’s Lantcafé: coffee served with ÅsnenBakelsen.
