Welcome to our nature camping, which is beautifully located by stunning Lake Åsnen. We have 150 very spacious pitches, almost all of them with electricity. Each pitch has its own camp fire and barbecue area. Discover the wonderful surroundings by taking a walk along our 3-4-5 km tracks. There are also many outdoor activities available; such as fishing, canoeing, badminton, beach- volleyball, football, boules, "varpa" and tennis. We also arrange children's activities in our nature school, where they can enjoy fishingtrips, viking adventures and learn more about nature.
Fishing
Lake Åsnen is one of the most beautiful fishing lakes in Sweden with a rich supply of pike, zander, perch, eel and some 20 species of whitefish – a true El Dorado for fishing enthusiasts! Record catches have been pulled out of the waters of Getnö. Every year, we organise fishing competitions. Besides Getnö’s own fishing waters, covering almost 1,000 hectares, you can fish all over Lake Åsnen, which is 155 km² in size.
Guided Tours
Getnö Gård’s experienced guides know both the waters and the surrounding nature and will take you to the best spots for each experience. We offer specially equipped guide boats for different activities. Join our guides on an Osprey safari, Osprey photography tour, pike safari, zander trolling, night fishing, or a guided mushroom tour.
Bicycle trails
We have around 20 bicycles with balloon tires, perfect for the beautiful forest trails. There are various cycling routes, such as Åsnen Runt, Banvallsleden, and Sydostleden. Would you like to explore the surroundings on an electric bike or mountain bike? These are also available at Getnö and can be booked via Rentbike.se
Canoe & Camp
Getting close to nature, feeling the tranquillity, admiring the fauna and the birdlife, these are best done while gliding along in a canoe. Experiencing nature from a canoe is a true El Dorado for Nature Lovers! We have all the equipment you need and we can help you to plan your Canoe & Camp trip.
Vedeldad bastu
Stepping into a warm sauna is pure pleasure. At Getnö Gård you can rent a sauna: either our fixed lakeside sauna with complete privacy right by the water, or a mobile sauna that can be brought to your cabin, campsite or down to the lake. Let your body relax, breathe in the scent of wood and listen to the sounds of nature, a true Swedish sauna experience that offers deep relaxation and renewed energy.
For children
During the season, the children can join nature school. They have their own program and can enjoy Viking adventures, games, competitions, shing and much more, specially designed to amuse the young. The fact that they also learn a good deal about nature is something that will give them positive knowledge for the rest of their lives!

Beware of fringed water lily
The fringed water lily is a foreign invasive water plant which can cover large areas of the water surface and outcompete native aquatic plants. This in turn causes altered habitats in the water which affects aquatic animals.
