The year is 1320, and Getnö Farm emerges from the historical records for the first time. The knight, Marshal of the Realm, and nobleman Håkan Jonsson Läma, with extensive estates, is the owner of the farm on the southern parts of the great Lake Åsnen. Join the knight on a journey through the captivating history of Getnö, the borderlands, and Värend. Let yourself be carried away by the wings of history and hear about life in the Middle Ages, castles and trade routes, ancient monuments, tar burners, historic windmills, oak boats from the 11th century, traditional farm tools, the wolf times of the 1800s, exciting anecdotes, and much more. After this historical adventure, the farm serves the medieval-inspired dish The Knight’s Meal.
